1. Student’s book p. 112 ex. 1, 2, 3, 4 Ex. 1 p. 112 I agree with these sayings. I think all people are stereotyped, because they explain a lot of things by them. Ex. 2 p. 112 Things you’ll never hear from men: a, c, e, f, g, h Things you’ll never hear from women: b, d, i, j Ex. 3 p. 112 Women are often moody. Woman like by ears. Women never go out without makeup. Women are good at cooking. Women aren't very good at driving. The best thing about being a woman is to follow the trends. The worst thing about being a woman is to obey the man.
Ex. 4 p. 112
2. Student’s book p. 113 ex. 5, 6 Ex. 5 p. 113 In my family mum usually does the shopping, does the cooking, washing and ironing and does family accounts. As for my chores, I always do the washing-up, do cleaning and vacuuming, do the odd jobs around the house. Also my mum often makes dinner when there are guests, makes family appointments to see doctors, dentists or teachers, makes an effort to keep in touch with family and friends. I always make beds, make the biggest mess in the kitchen, make the most noise and the longest phone calls. We often try to make an important decision, but my mum makes her mind up quickest. Ex. 6 p. 113 What things have changed in your lifetime for the family? / for women? / for men? In my lifetime the age of getting married has changed, the women have become more independent, the men have become more infantile. Do you think women should have the same rights as men? Do you think women have the same rights as men in your country? I’m sure that women should have the same rights as men, because people must be equal. I think women have the same rights as men in my country. Do you think women are in a better position now than women of your grandmother's generation were? I’m absolutely sure that women are in a better position now than women of my grandmother's generation were, because we live in peace and have everything we need. Do you think women are happier now than women of your grandmother's generation were? I doubt that women are happier now than women of my grandmother's generation were, because the life is so uncertain now and we are always in a stress. 3. I make my bed and then I have my breakfast. I usually have porridge, a cup of coffee and sandwiches. The breakfast is the best time to communicate with your parents. When we sit down we start talking about everything. Then at 7: 20 am I start getting ready for my University, I leave for University around 8: 00 am where I study so hard.
