Fire safety rules for guests of the Universiade Village

We remind you that in the Universiade Village it is prohibited to:

· Use electric heating equipment in the rooms (stove, reflectors, electric kettles, heating immersions, irons, etc. );

· Smoke in the residential buildings and on the territory of the Universiade Village;

· Bring and store flammable substances and materials in the rooms;

· When leaving the room, turn off all electrical appliances, lamps, lightings, and close windows and doors.

In case of fire in your room:

· Immediately inform the operator about the incident and call the fire department (on your mobile phone dial 112 or +7 843 261 99 14 to call the fire department of the Privolzhsky district, Kazan);

· If it is not possible to settle the fire on your own, leave the room and close the door without locking it;

· Leave the dangerous area and proceed as directed by the Authority or the Fire Department.

In case of fire outside your room:

· Leave your room after closing the windows and door, leave the building;

· If the hallways and stairs are smoke-filled, and you can not leave the room, stay in the room. Lock and compact the door to protect yourself from dangerous temperatures;

· To avoid smoke inhalation, close the gaps and vents using water soaked towels and bed linen;

· Try to communicate through the open window with your neighbors and the administration to inform them about your location;

· When the firemen arrive, signal them through the window that you need help;

· Do not use the elevator during the evacuation;

· You can wait till the fire is down on a balcony; in this case make sure that the doors are closed.
