We will be joined by a unique group of keynote speakers who will provide insights and knowledge in the following areas

Thomas Sparrow - Freedom of speech: Conspiracy Theories and Misinformation in the Digital Age

Thomas Sparrow is the Political and Security Correspondent at Deutsche Welle, Germany's international broadcaster, where he covers European news live on television in English, German and Spanish. He has covered various state and official visits, the refugee crisis, terror threats and attacks in Europe, Brexit and the transatlantic relationship.

He is a frequent guest on news outlets around the world, including in Estonia, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Nigeria, Ghana, United States, United Kingdom, Colombia, India, Vietnam and South Korea.

He previously worked as a correspondent for the BBC in Washington during the presidency of Barack Obama. He is also the co-author of three books on European topics.

Neil Wilcock - The Role of the United Nations in World Affairs

Neil Wilcock works at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) on projects to tackle corruption internationally. His work concentrates on raising the voices of civil society in the fight against corruption, specifically through the UN Convention against Corruption.

He is passionate about working with people from all different backgrounds and on projects that help others achieve what they want in life. Neil has also written one book on political economy and is due to publish a second on the same topic in 2021.


Sally Little - The Importance of Global Competencies in the Finance Sector

Sally is a Director of ING’s Fund Finance team, which is part of ING’s Financial Institutions Group with teams in London, Luxembourg, New York and Singapore.

ING’s clients include listed funds managed by large institutional asset management firms, and unlisted private equity, debt, real estate and infrastructure funds managed by leading financial sponsors.

Sally joined ING in 2006, working in London with an assignment to New York in 2011. Sally is also a member nominated trustee of ING’s Pension Fund for London staff
Parent Workshops. We will also be offering parent workshops each day, which will look at the various themes explored and what the students have learned.

Proposed Timetable. 10 workshops = 2 workshops per day for five days + a virtual excursion. Details of which keynote speaker and workshop to run in each time slot will be confirmed in due course.
On the 10 April, there will also be a virtual excursion (Oxford tbc)
