The 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 was basically a performance option of the standard 70 Chevelle. The car was equipped with a 454 cid engine had a 2-door coupe hardtop body style. The Chevelle SS was one of the two optional packages of the standard 70 Chevelle; the SS 396 and the SS 454. The latter one, which is the point of interest in this guide had a 454cu 7.4L V8 engine rated at 450hp and had 3-speed auto transmission.
