Types of companies in the US and in Gr_ Britain

There are several types of companies in the US and in Great Britain. Unlimited Partnership (in England) or General Partnership (in America) comprises 2 or more persons, dealing with some type of business for making profits. The partnership is out of law and its action is regulated by the Partnership Law since 1890 (in Gr. Britain).

Limited Partnership includes: general partners, managing partnership businesses and bears the responsibilities to the creditors for its debts; and limited partners, who don't take an active part in the managing of partnership.

Master Limited Partnership comprises both the outlines of Limited and General Partnerships. This Partnerships has the right to produce and sell its shares and its incomes don't rate the corporation tax.

Nowdays, the formation of firm in the form of Partnership is not very widespread. Mainly they are: the attorney offices, consulting firms and family organizations. The title of partnership includes the name of 1 or several partners: Wilson & Sons: Smith, Johnson & Brown.
