19 copper alloy wire-wound pins with globular shaped heads. Some of the pins are held in small cases made from rolled sheet copper alloy. There are 2 pins in one case and 3 in the other. The pins vary in size and in weight but are all of the same style. They are most likely to be Medieval in date however this style of pin did continue into the Post-Medieval period. The exact use of this type of pin is still under discussion, they could be sewing pins or used as a dress fastener or hair pins.
