Proposal to up-date the school facilities

Current situation
The school facilities are actually outdated and uninspiring. Although the student’s motivation is high, there is little attractive space for outside activities, which, in my opinion, are as important as academic subjects.
The school is located in a big yard, which could be used for several interesting activities. Of course, some remodelling will be necessary in order to profit plainly the ground.
Recommendation
Considering that the size of the yard is enormous, it would seem sensible to make it attractive and useful to students and teachers.
Firstly, I suggest dividing it in several parts. One part could be transformed in a poly sport court were all kinds of physical activities could be trained. Besides the advantages of introducing several new kinds of sports, the school could organize games and competitions at the weekends. There are many advantages in promoting this sort of activities. Not only will the students and teachers stay at school after the classes in order to train for the games, as the competitions would attract the student’s families and friends. It is vital that the pupils see their school not only as a learning place but also as a place for leisure, a place they can use in their spare time.
For those who do not like sports, it is possible to think about another outside activity, once the size of the yard is big enough to develop other projects. I would suggest a garden where the students could plant vegetables without toxic fertilizers, fruit trees and flowers. Those products could be used in the kitchen canteen or given to orphanages. Besides the advantage of learning and working in the open air, a garden would be nice to look at, and we know that the learning process is stimulated in an attractive environment.
Conclusion
I therefore recommend we form a commission in order to study the possibilities including the teachers, the students and their parents in the reform project. Lots of them would like to transform their school in a real cultural centre.
