Essay “Robots will soon replace people in all jobs.”

It is argued by many individuals that jobs robots will replace humans in the future. Some people opine that robots can become an alternative to human labour in all spheres while others think that they will never replace people.

In my opinion, it is impossible for robots to do all the jobs. Firstly, they can replace people in many jobs but cannot operate independently. There is always a need for human supervision in case something will go wrong or break. Secondly, machines are not capable to take decisions, which make people irreplaceable in jobs where decisions must be taken. Finally, robots are very expensive and usually they are worse than people at work. Very few people can buy a good robot.

However, there are people who think technology is developing rapidly and artificial intelligence will be capable to replace human intelligence in the future. Robots work according to algorithms, precisely performing tasks. Furthermore, robots do not get tired, so people only benefit using them.

Despite all my respect to my opponents’ opinion, personally I think that people cannot be totally replaced by machines in social services, health care, and education because communication and empathy сочувствие can be taught and provided to humans only by humans. Robots are not able to create masterpieces of art and hardly cope with such jobs as a writer, composer, and painter. Also, all machines cannot avoid breakdown. This may result in catastrophic consequences both for people and nature.

All in all, there are two different points of view on the problem. Though some people say robots could do more works and their works are faster than humans, I believethat technology will never compare to brilliant human mind.
