Plans for future is a problem that worries not only me, but my friends, classmates, parents and teachers. The reason is that at the age of 17 we have to make a very important choice in our life – the choice of a profession. On the one hand, I’m adult enough to have an opinion of my own about what I’m interested in and what I’m good at. On the other hand, at this age we lack life experience and our desires sometimes don’t coincide with our possibilities. That’s why it’s very important to have somebody to give us a piece of advice. Such people are our parents, teachers and friends.
There are plenty of different professions. Some of my friends want to be doctors, others want to be lawyers or journalists, some want to become designers or IT workers.
As for me, I have always had a particular interest in advertising. So, I have already decided what I want to do when it’s time for me to choose my future profession. I would like to have a job where I can apply my creative skills. I would like to become a creative director in an advertising agency. I think it’s a well-paid and rewarding job, but of course, it can be quite challenging at times too.
If you want to be a good art director, you need to be creative, communicative and be able to work in a team. I think I am well-organised and ready to take risks. All this makes me a good candidate for this position.
Like many other people I would like to spend a year abroad working. It would give me an opportunity to borrow the experience and to see the world. I will try to do everything to become a good specialist in the sphere I have chosen and I’m sure I will never regret my decision to follow this career.
