Rules and Regulations

International Open Trophy candidates may enter a maximum of:

One Age section (Classical and/or Variety), as well as the Trophee Mondial Chamber Music, World Music, Electronic categories.

Provided no piece of music is repeated within the Competition.

They MAY NOT ENTER the Trophee Mondial Classical category (Senior / Masters / Junior) or Variety category (Senior / Junior)

Past 1st Place prizewinners in any International Open Trophy Category may NOT enter the SAME category again.

Category 1:

International Open Trophy 10 and Under

Age limit: born 2010 or later

One Round only: Free Program

Duration: 4 min Maximum

Category 2:

International Open Trophy 12 and Under – (Variety / Jazz / World Music)

Age limit: born 2008 or later

Free Program - Duration: 6 min Maximum

Category 3:

International Open Trophy 12 and Under - Classic (FB or SB permitted)

Age limit: born 2008 or later

Free Program - Duration: 8 min Maximum

Category 4:

International Open Trophy 14 and Under – (Variety / Jazz / World Music)

Age limit: born 2006 or later

Free Program - Duration: 7 min Maximum

Category 5

International Open Trophy 14 and Under - Classic (FB or SB permitted)

Age limit: born 2006 or later

Free Program - Duration: 9 min Maximum

Category 6:

International Open Trophy 16 and Under – (Variety / Jazz / World Music)

Age limit: born 2004 or later

Free Program - Duration: 8 min Maximum

Category 7:

International Open 16 and Under - Classic (FB or SB permitted)

Age limit: born 2004 or later

Free Program - Duration: 10 min Maximum

Category 8:

International Open Trophy 18 and Under – (Variety / Jazz / World Music)

Age limit: born 2002 or later

Free Program - Duration: 8 min Maximum

Category 9:

International Open Trophy 18 and Under - Classic (FB or SB permitted)

Age limit: born 2002 or later

Free Program - Duration: 12 min Maximum

Category 10:

International Open 18 to 35 years old – (Variety / Jazz / World Music)

Free Program - Duration: 8 min Maximum

Category 11:

International Open Trophy 18 and over - Classic (FB or SB permitted)

(No maximum Age Limit)

Free Program - Duration: 12 min Maximum

Category 12:

Adultes Passionnés Amateurs: 36 years old and over

(No maximum Age Limit)

Free Program - Duration: 4 min Maximum

Category 13:

Adultes Passionnés Confirmés: 36 years old and over

(No maximum Age Limit)

Free Program - Duration: 6 min Maximum
