Hebrews 5:7-10

⁷During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. ⁸Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered ⁹and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him ¹⁰and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 6:19-20

¹⁹We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, ²⁰where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.

Exodus 25:9, 40, 26:30, 27:8, 31:11

⁹Make this tabernacle and all its furnishings exactly like the pattern I will show you…. ⁴⁰See that you make them according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.

³⁰“Set up the tabernacle according to the plan shown you on the mountain.

⁸Make the altar hollow, out of boards. It is to be made just as you were shown on the mountain.

…¹¹and the anointing oil and fragrant incense for the Holy Place. They are to make them just as I commanded you.”

2 Corinthians 4:8-9, 16-18

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; ⁹persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed…. ¹⁶Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. ¹⁷For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. ¹⁸So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
