Hebrews 5:7-10

7 During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. 8 Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered 9 and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him 10 and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 6:19-20

19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, 20 where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.

Exodus 25:9, 40, 26:30, 27:8, 31:11

9 Make this tabernacle and all its furnishings exactly like the pattern I will show you…. 40 See that you make them according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.

30 “Set up the tabernacle according to the plan shown you on the mountain.

8 Make the altar hollow, out of boards. It is to be made just as you were shown on the mountain.

11 and the anointing oil and fragrant incense for the Holy Place. They are to make them just as I commanded you.”

2 Corinthians 4:8-9, 16-18

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed…. 16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
