ARRIVAL PILOT STATION / PORT

 

1. Stand – by engine (no more than 4 miles from pilot station if is possible), this is the end of voyage (distance, time, av. speed from last noon and total dist., total time av. speed of voyage) also draft: fore, aft, middle.

2. Arrival pilot station, waiting for pilot.

3. Pilot on board, also the name of pilot.

4. Enter port, channel, and buoys channel, locks.

5. Tugs fasted fore, aft, middle, also the names of tugs.

6. First rope fore.

7. First rope aft.

8. Finish mooring, quantities of bunkers: FO, DO, EO, CO, GO, R, and BR., name of berth.

9. Tugs away.

10. Pilot away.

11. Authorities on board.

12. Free practice.

13. Authorities away.

 

 

ARRIVAL ANCHORAGE

 

1. As item No.1 of arrival pilot station / port.

2. Arrival anchoring position.

3. Let go port or strb anchor.

4. Finish anchoring (quantity of shackles), also bunkers FO, DO, EO, GO, FR, OX, AC, FW.

   

DEPARTURE FROM ANCHORAGE TO PORT

1. Stand – by engine, commencing up the anchor.

2. Anchor up, various maneuvering to proceed pilot station.

3. Arrived pilot position, waiting pilot.

4. Pilot on board, name of pilot, various maneuvering to proceed to port.

5. Items No.4 to No.13 of arrival pilot station / ports.

 

 

DEPARTURE FROM ANCHORAGE TO VOYAGE

1. Stand – by engine, commence heave up the port or strb anchor.

2. Anchor up various maneuverings.

3. Full ahead to our destination (name of port), course, draft: fore, aft, middle, also bunkers FO, DO,

EO, GO, R, BR. Full ahead no more 15 minutes if possible after anchor up.

 

 

   

DEPARTURE FROM PORT

 

1. Pilot on board, name pilot. Stand – by engine and deck crew.

2. Tugs fast fore, aft, middle also name of tugs.

3. Commence unmooring.

4. Cast off all ropes, away from berth.

5. Out of port, channels, buoys of channels, locks.

6. Tugs away.

7. Drop pilot.

8. Full ahead (no more then 15 minutes if possible) to our destination (name of port), draft: fore, aft, middle 

also bunkers: FO, DO, FW, EO, CO, GO, R, BR.

 

 

ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE TEST

12/8/4/1 hours before arrival / departure state in logbook the followings;

 

Due arrival / departure tested on bridge radars, echo sounder, VHF, inner telephones, D/F, gyro and magn compasses, aldis, navigation lights, signal lights, smoke detector, fire and general alarms, whistles, systems of rudder, emergency steering system, communication fore and aft. Radio room tested all main and emergency equipment, portable trans/receivers. On deck tested windlass and mooring winches, emergency fire pump, emergency batteries, all ship’s abandon and fire fighting equipment. Engine room: main engine and generators, all main and emergency pumps and all main and emergency machinate and valves.

All above working / operating good.

The above text 12 hours before arrival / departure after 8/4/1 you write “RESUMED ARRIVAL / DE-
