Online Summer School on Foreign Law

“Current Problems of Modern Law under Digital Development”

 

About the School on Foreign Law:

The School on Foreign Law is aimed to advance the knowledge of Russian and international students in various fields of modern law as well as to jointly explore the existing problems.

 

Objectives:

 

- enhancement of knowledge about Russian and foreign legal systems;

- building professional skills;

- development of cooperation in education with representatives of universities from different countries;

- improvement of skills to use interdisciplinary approach.

 

Areas of work:

 

The School on Foreign Law is conducted online in the following areas:

 

o Theory of State and Law;

o Constitutional law;

 

o Civil law, Business law, Private international law;

o Integration and European law;

o Information law and Digital Technologies;

o Administrative law;

 

o Comparative law.

Application:

 

Submitting an application to the School on Foreign Law includes e‑registration and uploading the following documents:

 

1. CV (1 page).

2. ID photo.

3. Proof of language proficiency: international certificates etc. (if available).

4. Motivation letter (described your interest to participate in the School of Foreign Law, no more than 1 page, A4, font size – 14, interval – 1).

5. Consent to personal data processing (scan-copy, signed by applicant).

 

E-registration deadline: June 15, 2020.

Admission decision: June 20, 2020.

 

Successful applicants will receive the letters of acceptance on the e-mail indicated in the application.

The application is submitted individually, the joint application is not considered.

Applications are not reviewed or returned.

 

Organizational issues and terms of participation:

Location:

The School on Foreign Law – 2020 is online based on Zoom platform of Kutafin State Law University (MSAL).

 

Participants:

Participation is available for 3rd and 4th year undergraduate and graduate students from MSAL and another  universities from Russia and partner universities .

Working languages:

The working language  is English.

Tuition fee:

Participation in the School on Foreign Law is free of charge.

 

Preliminary preparation:

1. Summary of the scientific interests of the participant.

2. Preparation for discussion and completion of assignments sent to participants.

 

Training:

1. Participants of the School on Foreign Law must be ready for intensive daily work from 10:00 to 19:00.

2. Participation in all educational activities of the School on Foreign Law is required. If a participant of the School on Foreign Law fails to attend one or more educational events, the University shall decide to exclude the participant from the possibility of obtaining a certificate.

 

Documents:

1. Passport and copy of passport

2. At the end of the School on Foreign Law, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance.
