Electronic assistant “Ecological problems”

1. Is ecological situation in your region good or bad?

To tell the truth, the ecological situation in our region is

rather poor. The air is polluted because there is a lot of transport here, which produces exhaust gases.

2. What ecological problems are there in in your region?

As for our region, there are two main problems here:

polluted air and polluted water. The reasons are much traffic and many industrial enterprises.

3. Are these problems serious? Why?

No doubt, the problems of polluted air and water are really dangerous because they threaten the health of people and

animals, and nature as a whole.

4. Why is it necessary to protect the environment?

I’m sure, it is significant to protect the environment because

bad ecology endangers the existence of humanity.

5. What do you do to help our planet?

There is much everyone can do to help our planet. As for me,

I plant trees in the nearby park every year, I try to save water and electricity. I also buy only paper bags as they are environmentally friendly.

6. What should government do to improve the ecological situation in your region?

I consider, our government should pay more attention to ecological problems. It should create laws about environment protection and invest money into ecological programmes.
