TASKS FOR THE PRACTICAL LESSON ON THE SECTION: “GENERAL HISTOLOGY”

1. Three types of cells are offered to you (photo of cells below the pictures). Determine: what tissue these cells belong to? What group of cells do they belong to? What are the most important differences between them that make it possible to differentiate them from each other!

2. The scanogramm shows a cell of loose connective tissue! Determine what kind of cell is it? What is the source of its origin, function! List the most important organelles of this cell?

3. Microslide of an organ having a layered structure is offered to you. The first layer here is the epithelium. Identify this organ! What is his type of epithelium! Briefly describe the structure of this epithelium!

4. Here is a schematic representation of exocrine glands! Identify each type of gland according to the morphological classification of exocrine glands! Explain what structural features of exocrine glands this classification is based on!

5. Determine the micropreparation offered to you! Describe it!

6. The diagram shows two groups of blood cells (under the arrows)! Explain: what structural feature allows you to call them blood cells? What are the two main features that distinguish these two groups of cells from each other, and which cells are shown in the figure?

7. Cells of two different body tissues are detected on micropreparations! Each of them in the cytoplasm contains basophilic structures. Identify these cells! What tissue cells are they? What specific basophilic structures does each cell contain and what are they formed of or what do they contain?
